Marketing

As a Marketing placement student you will enjoy a varied role in a fast paced, creative environment. Expect to be involved in multimedia campaigns and thinking of innovative ways to help our customers.

Sales and Customer Development

The customer development team in our consumer sector are the key point of contact with our many customers, from large national retailers to local pharmacies. Customer Development manages accounts, develops and maintains relationships, sells products and ultimately reaches our sales targets.

Graphic Design

As a Graphic Design Student Placement in the Medical Devices Marketing Team you could find yourself working on the design of in-house brochures, PowerPoint/Keynote template design, video graphics, e-marketing, digital communications, adverts or the general upkeep of the branded materials.

Supply Chain

The supply chain team is crucial in making sure all our products get to the right place at the right time. You will play a vital part in making this happen.

HR

Business Compliance

Our healthcare compliance teams provide support to the marketing and sales teams to ensure we are compliant with the laws and industry codes that are designed to serve patients by safeguarding medical decisions.

Drug safety scientists collect and evaluate information from patients and healthcare professionals to try and identify new information about the use of medicines and any side effects experienced by patients.

Clinical Research and Medical Affairs

Through the application of sound science and vigorous testing, our research professionals move our businesses and our world toward the future of human health care. The medical affairs department is responsible for providing hospital consultants, regulatory agencies and healthcare professionals with scientific and medical information relating to the value and correct usage of the medical devices products.

Regulatory Affairs

Today’s changing healthcare environment presents many exciting challenges for Regulatory Affairs (RA) professionals. RA professionals within DePuy Synthes have opportunities to participate in high-level forums that connect government agencies and industry leaders to shape a complex policy ecosystem.

Microbiology

Our microbiology teams make a big impact by looking at things in minute detail, making sure our products and processes live up to the high standards our customers expect.

Project Management

The project management team works with all area of the business and external parties to deliver a vast array of projects across many different functional areas within the business. This means you could be exposed to a wide scope of business areas whilst gaining invaluable project management experience and skills.

Medical Engineer (Sterilization)

The purpose of this role is to support the Sterility Assurance Department in the application and practice of microbial assurance as applied to the design, manufacture and sterilisation of implants and instruments. You will join a team of engineers and will be involved with the designers, manufactures and external vendors.

IT

Working within a Research and Development (R&D) and manufacturing environment; the successful candidate will install and evaluate information technology hardware and software and troubleshoot problem areas. The role will provide strong experience for someone wishing to have a career in IT within a laboratory/manufacturing environment.
